What Clearance Wire is
Clearance Wire watches public FDA data (510(k) clearances, recalls, and MAUDE adverse events, via openFDA) and emails you a weekly brief plus alerts when a clearance or event touches the product codes you watch. It is general competitive and regulatory information, not regulatory, legal, or medical advice. Clearance Wire is not affiliated with the FDA. FDA data can lag, change, or be corrected at the source, and all results should be treated as unvalidated until you confirm them against the FDA record.
Plans and billing
- Monthly: $49 per business per month. First 7 days free, then billing starts.

Free tools
The product code check and the predicate search are provided as-is for evaluation, on public FDA data. Rate limits may apply.
Acceptable use
Use the service for your own organization's device monitoring. Do not resell the brief or alert feed as a competing service, scrape the site at abusive rates, or submit other people's email addresses.
Liability
We work to report clearances and events accurately and link to the FDA source, but FDA publications can be delayed, amended, or withdrawn with little notice, and a quiet period means nothing new published in the watched codes, not a guarantee that nothing will publish. Clearance Wire is not liable for decisions made on the data, including regulatory filings or competitive moves. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always the one posted on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
